Yotam Ottolenghi is a modern-day cooking sensation.  The trail-blazing chef, prolific author, TV personality and restaurateur whose name has become a cooking style has changed the way Australians approach cooking, introducing us all to dishes that feature exotic spices and ingredients that we previously may have never heard of – pomegranate, figs, rosewater, molasses, tahini, sumac, za’tar and so much more!
 
Born in Jerusalem and trained at Le Cordon Bleu in London, Yotam Ottolenghi began his career as a pastry chef before co-founding the first Ottolenghi deli in Notting Hill in 2002. His innovative approach introduced bold Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavours to the London food scene. His bestselling cookbooks –  including Plenty, Jerusalem, and Simple – have sold millions of copies globally, inspiring home cooks to embrace fresh, colourful, and globally influenced cuisine. Ottolenghi is widely recognized for transforming modern cooking methods and expanding the western food palette.

Yotam Ottolenghi is an internationally acclaimed chef, restaurateur, and author whose work has redefined contemporary cooking through a celebration of bold flavours and vibrant, vegetable-forward cuisine. He is the author of multiple bestselling and award-winning cookbooks, including Jerusalem, Plenty, and Ottolenghi Simple, which have collectively sold over five million copies worldwide.
