Get ready to cascade your key learnings & align your mission statements, Wankernomics 2.0 coming.
After an acclaimed 2023 debut, overpaid consultants James Schloeffel (from The Shovel) & Charles Firth (from The Chaser) have an all-new show about navigating workplace hell. Delivered as a 60-minute, excruciating corporate workshop, audiences will learn how to outmanoeuvre their colleagues with nothing more than an obnoxious Linkedin profile, a pack of Post-it Notes and the phrase ‘circle back’.
Mixing observational comedy with dark satire, Wankernomics 2.0 lifts the lid on everything from the meaninglessness of company values, to the skills required to decode job ads, Linkedin posts and the term “re-attaching for your convenience”. There’s even a re-imagining of Shakespeare using corporate jargon.
James Schloeffel said: “This is a show for anyone who’s worked in an office, endured a pointless meeting, or wondered what ‘Let’s drill down on the granular detail and socialise the deck before COB’ means”.
Charles Firth said: “We’re committed to putting our audiences at the centre of everything we do”.
Wankernomics 2.0: As Per My Last Email is the much-anticipated follow-up to Wankernomics: Solutioning the Corporate World, which delighted audiences last year with its hilarious, wince-inducing look at the bureaucracy, banality, buzzwords & bullshit of the working world.
About James & Charles
James and Charles are the brains behind two of Australia’s most-loved satire brands, and have performed sold-out shows together across the country with their unique brand of biting comedy. They have been described as “a cut above” (The Adelaide Advertiser), “Two of the best in the business” (Glam Adelaide) and “A best-of-breed, outcomes-focused comedy duo” (some wanker in middle management).
